About Dan

Dan Robinson brings over 10 years of commercial real estate experience to the True Commercial team, which blends seasoned professionals with driven new agents—offering Greater Mankato a fresh alternative in the market.

A Mankato native, Dan graduated from Loyola High School, Minnesota State University, and the University of St. Thomas (with honors). In 1968, he founded Dan’s Champion Auto stores, expanding to 12 locations before selling the business to O’Reilly Automotive after 40 years. Unable to fully retire, he transitioned into commercial real estate, where he’s worked for the past 11 years.

Dan serves as vice president of SMILES, RCEF president for the Salvation Army, and sits on the Twin Valley Council Boy Scouts advisory committee. He is also a former board member of Wells Fargo and Northern Star Bank.

Outside of real estate, Dan enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and landscape painting. He is married with two sons and four grandsons.
